Andy Coburn Chosen for the Liberty Fellowship

GREENVILLE, S.C. - July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Wyche attorney Andy Coburn has been selected to participate in the Liberty Fellowship Class of 2015.  The Liberty Fellowship is a leadership initiative founded by Anna Kate and Hayne Hipp, Wofford College, and The Aspen Institute. Participants are chosen from across South Carolina based on their proven leadership abilities and their commitment to moving the state forward.  This year, the Liberty Fellowship selected 23 leaders in the state from over 400 nominations.  Mr. Coburn will be the newest Liberty Fellow from Wyche, joining previous graduates Melinda Davis Lux, Eric Graben, Jo Watson Hackl, and Matthew Richardson.

“Individually, the new Fellows are enormously impressive, and they join 185 other Liberty Fellows who are deeply rooted in South Carolina with the passion and the expertise to make an impact here,” commented Hayne Hipp, co-founder of the Liberty Fellowship.

Mr. Coburn is a Member at Wyche and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, structuring of joint ventures, securities offerings, and other financing transactions. He further focuses on executive compensation arrangements, equity compensation plans, and employee benefits.  In addition to his practice at Wyche, Mr. Coburn is an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Furman University.  He serves as legal advisor to accelerator companies for The Iron Yard and is on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Arts Council.
