The Green Gathering Festival returns to Chepstow

July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Music at the Green Gathering:

Festival favourites playing this year include Martha Tilston, Seize the Day, Samuel J, Scallywags featuring Duncan Disorderly, Chainska Brassica, Dapper Cadavers,  Dubblehead and Ushti Baba the Bristol based 8-piece live band playing a raucous fusion of Balkan beats and British folk.

Dance Tent: Get ready for a smooth ride over huge beats and inevitably heavy bass. With Index, Subindex,  Skanky Generals,  Hkay One newest member from the The Tru Sound Tribe, Dj Axcite, Syte and others will all be playing over the weekend. Bringing a heavy blend of Glitch Hop, Ghetto Funk, Dubstep, 2 step, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass and more.

You can listen to speakers like, Natalie Bennett leader of the Green Party, Jenny Jones member of the London Assembly, Kate Evans, Occupy Economics, Paul Mobbs, Hector Christie, Spinwatch, Tony Gosling with workshops on Fracking, GM Food, and setting up Eco-smallholdings and many others.

Tickets are £130 for the 4 days or £30 per day or £20 per day with a Chepstow postcode. Kids 10 and under have free entry.
