Fight Club Sequel in the Works

Fight Club Sequel in the Works, Starting out as a graphic novel

July 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Some rules were made to be broken. Others were meant to be beaten to a pulp until they yell, "STOP!", go limp, or pass out. I'm not supposed to talk about this, but word from Comic-Con is that everyone's favorite gay nihilist, Chuck Palahniuk, has just announced that he will be penning a graphic novel sequel to his magnum opus, Fight Club. Palahniuk, who became a literary giant after his novel was turned into a film in 1999, hasn't given many clues as to the contents of the sequel, but Palahniuk's ravenous following is already lining up with questions: What became of the unnamed narrator (vicariously called "Jack") and his fractured relationship with Marla Singer? What kind of social structure (if any) now exists in a world forged by Project Mayhem? Will Palahniuk's vision of his work match with the swaggering bravado and tongue-in-cheek nature of the film? Most importantly: Will the sequel be a continuation of director David Fincher's vision, or Palahniuk's? I know we're not supposed to talk about it, but no van filled with nitroglycerin can silence the wave of rumors that are about to come pouring out of this bombshell announcement.
