Bluegrass Dance Center to Hold Open House on July 21

RICHMOND, Ky. - July 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Bluegrass Dance Center is excited to host its open house on July 21, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The open house will give new and existing students the opportunity to meet the new owner, Jenni Webb, as well as learn about the new classes, teachers, and upcoming events. Current, new, and prospective students will also have the opportunity to take free sample classes and to see the new classroom and other studio renovations that were recently completed.  

While the Richmond, Ky dance studio (http://www.bluegrassdance.com) has been undergoing so many changes behind the scenes, competing students and their parents have been quite busy with a successful summer competition season.

On July 7 in Nashville, Tennessee, Bluegrass Dance center dance students attended the International Dance Challenge (IDC Nationals). Dance teams and individual competitors brought home well over 20 awards.

Following IDC Nationals, from July 13 to 18, The United States Twirling Association held its National Baton Twirling Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida and Bluegrass Dance Center’s Bluegrass Butterflies brought home a dozen solo and team awards.

At the open house, new and prospective students and their parents will learn about how they can become a part of this successful organization, while everyone, new or current, can learn how to take advantage of everything it has to offer. It is the mission of Bluegrass Dance Center to provide a fun and safe atmosphere for students who love dance to be inspired today and for the rest of their lives. Each instructor is dedicated to teaching proper technique, introducing an appreciation for the art of dance, and promoting self-confidence in every student.  

The open house begins at 1:00 p.m. Sample classes will also begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:45 p.m. The classes being offered are: Parent and Me, Twos in Tutus, Pre-K/K, Baton/Rhythmic, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theater, Modern/Lyrical, and Hip Hop.

The event will conclude at 5:00 p.m. and parents are welcome to register their children for fall classes during the open house, as class sizes are limited and fill up quickly. Regular fall registration runs through September 2 with late fall registration beginning on September 3.
