NASCAR Driver Nicole Lyons Signs Reality TV Deal During Race Season
Nicole Lyons’ career heats up with a new TV Show and more time on the NASCAR race track. Lyons is contending for Rookie of the Year and is making African-American History.

ATLANTA - July 16, 2013 - PRLog -- NASCAR Driver, Nicole Lyons today announced her signing with Matador Content Productions for an upcoming automotive SPIKE Reality Show. Matador Content executive team consists of Todd Lubin and Jay Peterson who combined have experience from shows such as NBC’s “The Biggest Loser”, History’s “Swamp People”, and SPIKE’s “Inkmaster”. Lyons is currently competing in the NASCAR Late Model Series (LMS), Limited Late Model Series (LLMS), and NHRA Top Sportsman Series for the 2013 season.
Racing at Hickory Motor Speedway this last month, Lyons continues to be the only African-American female race car driver to qualify in the top 10 and complete in a NASCAR Whelen Series Race. Recently, her top 10 qualifying times were announced in her 4th race as she contends for Rookie Of The Year. To date, Lyons has completed all of her LLMS races as she continues to prepare for her transition to the K&N Series of NASCAR.
Lyons can be seen on the track in a Baby Blue #18 Royal Purple, Pacific Equipment, and Bell Helmets sponsored NASCAR car (http://www.royalpurpleconsumer.com/outperformer). In her last race in Hickory, Nicole held top 10 position with only 7 laps to go in the race when her tire went flat from contact with car #84, which forced her to pit. Lyons lost position but still finished under the checkered flag. Currently, Lyons is racing under David Roberts Racing lead by David “Rocket” Roberts who is a former NASCAR Greenville Pickens Track Champion(2007), most popular driver and has estimated track wins over 150.

To qualify in the top 10 and almost finish in the top 10 in just my 4th race really shows the potential I have in becoming a successful NASCAR driver like what I have done in the past in NHRA drag racing.
