Handwerk Art Exhibit by Amanda Heidel

NEW YORK - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Handwerk Art Exhibit is a series of map paintings, wall hangings, woven objects, and found objects.          

Handwerk is German for the word "craft".          Handwerk represents the idea of taking what is not and making it what it is.
This is Heidel's first solo exhibit in New York.

This week, during the exhibitions open gallery hours, the artist will be weaving an antique single wheel hoe live for the public. If you are interested in seeing this unique process, or just want to check out the rest of the series of work, stop into the Chashama Art Gallery on W126th Street, located between Amsterdam and Morningside, anytime from 1-6pm this Tuesday 7/16, Wednesday 7/17, Saturday 7/20, and Sunday 7/21.

Their will be something new and exciting happening at Chashama's 461 W126th Street Gallery from now until July 28th! Men, women, and children will all find this exhibit to be both visually pleasing and inspiring!
