Royal Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace 11-14 July 2013 - The Gardens at Buckingham Palace will be the venue for a one-off event this Summer. Where visitors will experience the best of food & drink, design & technology, homes & gardens.
 
MAYFAIR, U.K. - July 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Royal Coronation Festival will be open to members of the public who will be able to buy a ticket for the daytime event; giving visitors the opportunity to explore the Gardens and buy, sample and experience the wide range of products and services from the exhibitors. Or, buy a ticket for a magnificent Gala evening of entertainment - a celebration of music and dance over the past 60 years.

The Coronation Festival will take place in the stunning setting of the Gardens of Buckingham Palace, a truly unique venue.

HIGH-QUALITY ARCHITECTURE, HOME AND GARDEN DESIGN

Royal Warrant holders from sectors ranging from fabric to paint, furniture to antiques will be demonstrating their excellence in beautiful product displays. Visitors will be able to wander through a number of stunning sets which represent the creativity we as a country have. So whether it be the perfect space for entertaining and cooking, a luxury bathroom sanctuary or a garden for small urban spaces, our Home and Garden sets are sure to inspire.

Homes & Garden exhibitors include A. W. Hainsworth & Sons, one of Britain's most prestigious textile mills, who are best known for manufacturing the famous Hainsworth Guard Scarlet cloth which is worn by the Queen's Guards outside Buckingham Palace.

Chelsea-based antique dealer Rogers de Rin, appointed a Royal Warrant in 2004, will be bringing their original and diverse antiques which include Staffordshire pottery animals and Scottish Wemyss Ware.

Visitors will be able to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea or create their own royal hamper whilst experiencing the very best of food and drink from across the UK and beyond. Visitors will not only be able to sample the very finest food and drinks but will be able to purchase these items as well as watch experts, chefs and food producers demonstrate their skills on the Tastings and Demonstration stage.

Well known British brands such as Bendicks, Walkers Shortbread and Pimms will be exhibiting in the Food & Drink section at the Festival. Alongside these traditional British companies, other exhibitors will include The Ritz London, who became the first and only hotel to be awarded the prestigious honour of a Royal Warrant for Banqueting and Catering Services by HRH The Prince of Wales.

First awarded the Royal Warrant by King George III in 1760, Justerini and Brooks will be displaying their diverse and high-class range of fine wines.

Moreover, Prestat Finest Chocolate and Truffles were adored by the late famed writer Roald Dahl, author of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', who even made them the centre piece of his lascivious novel "My Uncle Oswald". Guests will be able to taste one of the UK's finest artisan chocolate makers.

The Royal Warrant Holders Association, by gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen, is proud and delighted to host the Coronation Festival in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace.

The Festival is being held by the Association to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty The Queen.

The Royal Warrant Holders Association was established in 1840 and represents individuals and companies with Royal Warrants of Appointment, which are a mark of recognition of those who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to The Households of HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh or HRH The Prince of Wales.
