Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates is Sponsoring the 24th Annual Tournament of Hope Golf Outing

July 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Ivanhoe Country Club in Mundelein will be home to this year’s Tournament of Hope Golf Outing, which will take place on Monday, July 22, 2013. Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates, a premier Mercedes-Benz dealer serving Mundelein (http://www.mercedeshoffman.com/dealership/about.htm), this annual charity golf outing will benefit the Fueling The Minds of the Future scholarship program, which offers college scholarships to Chicago area students.  

Kicking off with a Shotgun Shamble at 11:30 a.m., this year’s Tournament of Hope is hosted by Graham Enterprise, Inc. and Graham C-Stores Company. This will be a day of fun on the links, at the beautiful world-class Ivanhoe Country Club, all for the benefit of a worthy cause.

The Minds of The Future scholarship program provides support to young students who cannot afford the costs of higher education. Studies reveal that, between 2006 and 2016, approximately 4.5 million students will forego a college education due to the high cost of tuition. Offering scholarships of $2,000 to entering college freshmen, the goal of this program is to ensure that every student in the United States has the chance to attend college. Increasing access to higher education for less-fortunate students while at the same time promoting leadership and public service is a benefit both to the students and to the community at large.

The Ivanhoe Country Club, located at 28846 N.
