CTEK-Sponsored Land Speed Record-Holder Valerie Thompson Attends BMW Motorrad Days

TWINSBURG, Ohio - July 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Valerie Thompson, the CTEK Power USA sponsored owner/driver of Valerie Thompson Racing (VTR), attended the BMW Motorrad Days 2013 celebration July 5-7 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.

BMW Motorrad Days 2013 was a three-day extravaganza featuring “everything BMW” that drew over 35,000 attendees. Billed as the “biggest BMW party of the year,” it included new motorcycle introductions, special bike tours, riding demonstrations and races. The highly anticipated inaugural Classic Boxer Sprint, organized by the top German motorcycle magazine MO, showcased the new BMW Concept Ninety homage motorcycle.

“I can’t thank the wonderful folks at BMW Motorrad enough for the opportunity to attend this major event that attracted BMW enthusiasts from around the world,” stated Thompson, who is based in Scottsdale, Ariz. “I had a great time at the event, and I was flattered to be included in so many facets of it. The BMW Motorrad hosts were gracious and made sure that I was involved in everything from the Motorrad 90th anniversary signature book to the numerous photo shoots and interviews. The highlight for me was winning the Classic Boxer Sprint on the Roland Sands BMW Concept Ninety.”
