Spotlite Radio Presents Lorraine Strieby

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - July 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Spotlite Radio has the pleasure of interviewing a very creative and embellishing woman, Lorraine Strieby. On July 12, 2013, Lorraine will join, www.spotliteraido.com at 11 a.m EST. Her website describes each painting; i.e. why she painted it--her inspiration; she makes prints of all her work and can put it on paper or canvas. Striving Artists, Inc. helps her with reproduction work. Like many artists, Lorraine is interested in shape, color, symbols, collage, and mixed media. Lorraine quotes, "you can call me a purist in that all my originals are mixed media and I sell prints of all my work. Most are hand embellished me." There is a calendar called the "City of Angels," which was published already, but Lorrane is adding new paintings and will be releasing it again 2014 and will be available for purchase through her website, http://lorrainestrieby.com/. For the last year she has been working on a float to celebrate WV's 150th anniversary.

Not only is Lorraine an avid artist, but she also plays cocktail piano and used to play the accordian and the clarinet so she painted a series of jazz that can be seen on her website or at a gallery called SoHo South in Savannah, GA. Also she was in galleries in the French Quarter, New Orleans, the Barrie Holt Gallery during Katrina. Her paintings are busy with a lot of patterns. You don't get tired of them and also she hides things that are fun to find.  Continuing with her creativiness, Lorriane also invented a boardgame, which is sold on Amazon, that is called "WannaBtruckers," which is a board game for three-years old and backseat drivers to be played on the interstates and the big long haulers, 18 wheelers are the stars. It is an educational game and  teaches counting.
