College Station in Wheaton Ideally Suits Busy Lifestyle for Single Professional
Stacey Zalga wanted the fourth home she purchased to have what she truly wanted and meet the needs of her on-the-go life.
As a busy, single career woman working in the relocation industry, Stacey found the maintenance-
Moving from a condominium home in Lisle, Zalga was pleased to be able to make custom changes and color selections. “Heather and Dana assisted me with selections, were flexible and offered many helpful ideas to make the home my own,” she said.
“Having a great kitchen was very important to me. I upgraded the cabinets, light fixtures, countertops and added an island in the kitchen and upgraded the tile in the baths. Since it’s just me, I also opted to configure the three bedrooms into two larger bedrooms.”
Stacey, a cat lover and owner of two felines, collaborated with Airhart Construction to create a customized out-of-sight closet litter box solution in the English basement of her home. “We made a cut-out hole to accommodate the litter box to keep it out of view. We also took one quarter of the basement and made one huge closet for off-season and holiday storage,”
The location was an attraction at College Station. “Although I don’t take the train to work it’s nice to have it nearby. You can also walk or bike the Prairie Path to either downtown Glen Ellyn or Wheaton since College Station is located halfway between them both.”
