Cadence Aerospace Announces New Management Team

Hand-picked team will lead the charge to incorporate continuous improvement on the factory floor to provide superior service to all internal and external customer groups
EVERETT, Wash. - July 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Build-to-print machining supplier Cadence Aerospace (formerly PRV Aerospace) has completed the rebuilding of its management team to support its recent corporate rebranding.

The corporate goals of the rebranding include:

·         to foster an environment that will drive growth

·         to weave continuous improvement into the culture of the business

·         to treat customer, employees and suppliers with respect

·         to deliver a superior return to shareholders.

The team was selected after an extensive search from internal and external talent and joins the existing leadership teams at the corporation’s eight operating companies.

The Cadence Aerospace management team comprises:

Chief Executive Officer Larry Resnick, a board member since the purchase of the business by Court Square Capital Partners in May, 2012.Mr. Resnick was CEO at Taurus Aerospace and senior vice president, operations at Triumph Group, Inc., at which he led the acquisition process that supported Triumph’s revenue growth from $350M to $1.3B, and the integration of the acquired businesses and operational initiatives that spanned Triumph’s segments.

Chief Operating Officer Michael Coburn, who joined PRV Aerospace in February from Permaswage, a private equity owned business, where he was senior vice president, global operations, driving unprecedented growth through acquisition, international expansion to China and rebuilding of the management team. Mr. Coburn also brings the experience of driving performance through the use of a data-driven metrics approach at Precision Cast Parts, where he was group vice president and had P&L responsibility for $350M in revenue across four businesses.

Chief Financial Officer Don DeVore, formerly CFO at Synchronous Aerospace Machining Group and Ducommun Corporation corporate officer, vice president and treasurer, where he led the corporate development effort. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of finance and IT for the Ducommun Aerostructures segment.

Vice President, Business Development John Seguin continues in the role, having joined Cadence Aerospace in January 2008. He was formerly vice president sales and marketing at Giddens, where he implemented the strategy for significant growth of the company.  Prior to that Mr. Seguin held positions of increasing responsibility as director sales and marketing, program management, Contour Aerospace,  and as key account manager, Alcoa Engineered Products

Vice President, Finance Joyce Pae, with 20+ years of finance, accounting, strategic planning, operations and business development experience in healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and aerospace. Most recently, Ms. Pae was vice president of finance at Synchronous Aerospace. A CPA in the state of Illinois, she received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in addition to a BS with honors in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana­Champaign.

Vice President, Operations Scott Willis joined Cadence in January 2013. He comes from the Control Systems Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, where he held the position of operations director and site director, with responsibilities over multiple sites. The Six Sigma master black belt has extensive experience with lean techniques and brings a solid background in general management and manufacturing operations.

President of Giddens Operations Curt Schroeder joins Cadence from Senior Aerospace LLC, Metal Bellows, where he held the position of director of program management. Mr. Schroeder was responsible for developing customer and commercial strategies, meeting sales and profitability goals and managing the existing customer base. He also brings experience driving performance through a data-driven metrics approach from Precision Cast Parts, where he was operations director and director of sales and engineering.

President of Arden Operations David Beddome most recently held dual roles as president for the Casting Group and as group vice president of operations and engineering at Sanders Industries, where he was responsible for developing customer and commercial strategies, meeting sales and profitability goals and managing the existing customer base. Mr. Beddome also brings a background of driving performance through a data-driven metrics approach from his position of general manager, SPS Technologies-Santa Ana at Precision Cast Parts. He developed a solid Lean background at Smiths Aerospace, Textron and AlliedSignal/Honeywell.

Director, Supply Chain Operations Joe Kolb joined Cadence in June, 2013 and is working to drive savings through supply chain aggregation and lean implementation within the supply

base. Mr. Kolb was with Danaher Company where he was senior director of global operations for one of its medical businesses. He brings an extensive background in supply chain, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and operations management. He implemented Avery Dennison’s global lean Six Sigma initiative in 1997 and spent 10 years there as its vice president, operations, Roll Materials Worldwide.

Director, Business Development Henry David joined Cadence in June 2013. Mr. David brings 40 years’ aerospace experience in sales, marketing, contracts, negotiations, manufacturing, operations, supply chain management, materials and quality. After holding general manager level positions with Brek Manufacturing, Fortune Manufacturing and Magellan Aerospace (Ellanef Manufacturing), Mr. David operated his own business development and consulting company for the last three years.

Director, Business Development Conrad Bollingerhas a broad, 15-year background in aerospace. Holding progressively more strategic positions from senior sales and contracts manager at Contour Aerospace, to production/program manager at Superform USA, and most recently sales director, Western United States with RTI International Metals. Mr. Bollingerhas hands-on experience in large complex machined parts, complex sheet metal forming and engineered titanium extrusions.
