bybrisbin Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Bring hŌld to Market

TORONTO - July 9, 2013 - PRLog -- bybrisbin, creator of architecturally designed consumer products that blend form, function, and delight, today launched a Kickstarter campaign to gain support for its newest product, hŌld. hŌld by bybrisbin is the only protective iPad case that allows users to hold the iPad comfortably, ergonomically and in a variety of ways.

To address the discomfort and strain in ones fingers, forearm muscles and hands that users encounter when holding an iPad, bybrisbin designed the one-of-a-kind holding device, hŌld. hŌld is smart cover-friendly and offers right and left-handed, one-size-fits-all finger holds that allow users to hold the iPad in any orientation via its “Slide and Lock” technology.

“We made hŌld because we're iPad users that got fed up with watching movies, shows or reading while our hands, fingers and muscles got tired,” said Brian Brisbin of bybrisbin. “We looked at what's out there and realized nothing helps alleviate this problem without using an accessory that requires case removal, constantly needs to be taken on and off, or is uncomfortably wrapped around the hand. We decided to make a case that conquers all of these things!”

Kickstarter supporters will gain early access to product availability, with pledge packages ranging from $5 to $55. Supporters will have three standard color options: a white base with burnt orange accents, a white base with light grey accents, and a grey base with white accents. Enhanced options include: a camouflage version aimed at gamers and a fashion-forward carbon black based version with racing red accents and chrome finger holds. All versions of hŌld will begin shipping in December 2013.

Specifically designed to work with Apple Smart Covers, hŌld is compatible with iPad versions 2 and 3 and proposed iPad 4 dimensions. Based on supporter feedback, bybrisbin will expand the hŌld line to provide a variety of color schemes and designs.

Through the Kickstarter campaign, bybrisbin aims to fund the iPad version of hŌld, with the ultimate goal of developing the case for other tablets.
