Kamilah Madelyn is selected as Key Hair Stylist for Baltimore Fashion Week

BALTIMORE - July 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Hair and fashion go hand in hand, and with that being said, Baltimore Fashion Week is pleased to announce another addition to its design team.  Kamilah Madelyn, has accepted the position of Key Hair Stylist for Baltimore Fashion Week.  The pre-interview was set by error during a fashion mixer a few weeks ago during a local event.  That’s where all the creativity began.  

“Humbleness, excitement, and a take charge were the characteristics displayed during our brief introduction.  Usually, when I attend mixers I am a wall flower, but I noticed Kamilah’s hair as  soon as I walked in the room.  It was full of bounce and life and I said to myself, “Nice Hair.”:  Who would have ever thought that we would be working together on this production , not me,” stated Sharan Nixon, Founder/CEO of Baltimore Fashion Week.

Kamilah Madelyn comes to Baltimore Fashion Week as a certified Aveda trained stylist along with a wealth of knowledge in the cosmetology field, including theatrical hair and make-up application. Kamilah Madelyn is also an instructor at a local beauty institute.  Kamilah Madelyn is ready to take this production to its next level with her new, fresh, and creative ideas.

Kamilah Madelyn will be responsible for selecting, interviewing, creating the looks, and managing a team of 18 or more during Baltimore Fashion Week.  Being the key person responsible for creating the looks for such a production is not an easy task.
