KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - July 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Klamath Falls Great Northwest PRCA Rodeo is joining with the Klamath County Fair August 9th & 10th Friday & Saturday night at 7pm to celebrate its 19th Anniversary.   Gates open at 5:30 pm, rodeo begins at 7:00 pm and continues for several hours.  

These two great events are joining together to make for the largest most action packed event in Klamath County. Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) Rodeo is Klamath Falls only official PRCA Rodeo presenting America’s finest professional cowboys & cowgirls competing for prize money. The PRCA represents the highest level of rodeo competition sanctioning 700 rodeos in 46 states and four Canadian provinces.

Returning this year: Hall of Fame PRCA STOCK Contractor Western Rodeos Inc., bringing their NFR & PBR.  Plus Championship Bucking Bulls and Broncs all the way from Henryetta, Oklahoma to test their skills against top PRCA Cowboys.  In addition, America’s finest Professional Rodeo Cowboys & Cowgirls will again compete for over $50,000.00 in prize money.  

Scheduled events will begin Friday with the Wounded Warrior night.  Wounded Warrior is a project to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to provide unique programs and services, to honor and empower wounded warriors. An auction of a custom made pair of chaps and a pair of Red White & Blue Chaps with proceeds to be donated to WOUNDED WARRIORS in Klamath Falls.

Saturday night is "Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night” promoting Breast Cancer Awareness at our event.  Tough Enough To Wear PINK! The Klamath Falls Great Northwest PRCA Rodeo will make a donation to BREAST CANCER in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Wrangler® brand is using its strength with the rugged cowboy lifestyle to honor breast cancer survivors and the brave women and men who continue to battle the disease. TETWP is a yearlong western-industry campaign to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.  TETWP products will be for sale to support the foundation.

There will be a 50/50 raffle supporting Henley High School Varsity Golf Team.

Both Friday and Saturday night will feature Trick Riding at halftime with The DareDevil Sweethearts who are professional trick riding entertainers.  The DareDevil Sweethearts are sometimes referred to as doing gymnastics on horseback.  These four ladies are among the best trick riders in the business.  Their daring display of horsemanship is done with speed, talent, excitement, and personality of the professional entertainers. They perform every one’s favorites tricks: The Cossack Death Drag, Hippodrome Stand, One Foot Stand, Fender Drags, vaults, and more! Collectively they have over 45 years of experience as performers and have ridden in 8 countries and over half of the United States.  The Daredevil Sweethearts go the extra mile to make sure the crowd is entertained.
