Indo Arab Delegation Meets Karnataka Chief Minister

 
BENGALURU, India - July 4, 2013 - PRLog -- The Indo arab Chamber of Commerce met the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today to present memorandum on behalf of 17 arab countries for assistance programs in various Minority welfare schemes in the state.  The team was led by Chairman Krishna Kumar IAS who is a former cabinet minister and 5 times Loksabha MP and the executive Director Mr Asif Iqbal.  Mr C M Ibrahim , former minister for civil aviation lauded efforts put by the chamber of commerce in initiating various projects and generating employment for many muslims in the state. There was a proposal placed to help the Amanath co-operative bank to restructure and bring it back to normal functioning.
Investments from Arab countries will flow in karnataka and revenue generation for the state in terms of growth will be the prime focus for the Chambers during the next 5 years.
The Chamber has its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab emirates and has presence in all cities of india.
The meeting was attended by Minority welfare Minister Mr Qamarul Islam, Senior Leader Jaffer Shariff, Ex MLC Naseer Ahmed and N A Harris, MLA from shantinagar.
