OAK LAWN, Ill. - July 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Happy Hyundai is pleased to announce that the 2013 Hyundai Genesis (http://www.myhappyhyundai.com/2013-hyundai-genesis-sedan) luxury sedan and the 2013 Veloster hatchback have been honored with Vehicle Satisfaction Awards from AutoPacific. The Genesis took home the award in the Aspirational Luxury Car segment and the Veloster grabbed the Sporty Car segment’s award.

The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are determined based on a total of 51 vehicle attributes, which are rated by new vehicle owners. The California-based organization polls over 50,000 drivers to determine the winners of the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.

Both segment wins are big news for Hyundai, as both cars are relatively new when compared to long-time staples in their respective segments. The affirmation of customer satisfaction indicates that Hyundai has done something right to win over so many drivers.

The 2013 Hyundai Genesis won out over all other Aspirational Luxury Cars, proving that its refined style and long list of standard features appeal to buyers. It also proves that the Genesis is a compelling value proposition, as many cars in the same segment cost significantly more than a comparable Genesis.

The 2013 Hyundai Veloster (http://www.myhappyhyundai.com/2013-hyundai-veloster) won drivers over in part with its distinctive styling. Again, the Veloster provides a compelling value — it starts at less than $20,000, and with a choice between a naturally aspirated direct-injection engine or a turbocharged model, it also offers impressive performance.

“The AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are an important indicator that Hyundai is continuing to hit the mark when it comes to pleasing consumers,” said Scott Margason, director, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America.

Both the Genesis and the Veloster come standard with the new Assurance Connected Care system and the Hyundai BlueLink system, which provides roadside assistance, telematics, information, and connectivity functions. In an industry first, Hyundai is even providing a subscription to the Assurance Connected Care system for free for three years, adding even more value to their already feature-rich vehicles.

To see what AutoPacific and Hyundai owners are talking about, interested buyers can visit Happy Hyundai at 8900 S. Cicero Ave. in Oak Lawn, IL. Happy Hyundai is a leading Chicago area Hyundai dealer (http://www.myhappyhyundai.com/HoursAndDirections), and is proud to feature the full lineup of new Hyundai models.
