Tanya Sieliakus, VP Consulting Services, HR pros Tanya is honored to join the Board of the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia. Having lived with epilepsy for the last ten years Tanya understands the challenges. She will bring to the board her knowledge in business and her experience as someone with Epilepsy. Tanya believes that being active is her community is part of her role as a small business owner. She brings a wealth of experience in volunteer roles with organizations such as HRANS, ACOA, the ECMA and Phoenix House. Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting a variety of mental and physical functions in the affected person. The EANS strives to make sure that those who are touched by epilepsy are not defined or limited in their lives. They continue to raise funds and create programs to assist people with epilepsy. It affects approximately 1 in every 100 Canadians. EANS serves adults and children with epilepsy, their families, friends and the community at large. They seek to promote a better understanding of this common neurological condition through public education and awareness programs, advocacy and research. EANS is a proud member of the Canadian Epilepsy Alliance.
