Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting a variety of mental and physical functions in the affected person. The EANS strives to make sure that those who are touched by epilepsy are not defined or limited in their lives. They continue to raise funds and create programs to assist people with epilepsy. It affects approximately 1 in every 100 Canadians.
EANS serves adults and children with epilepsy, their families, friends and the community at large. They seek to promote a better understanding of this common neurological condition through public education and awareness programs, advocacy and research. EANS is a proud member of the Canadian Epilepsy Alliance.
