Incentive Marketing Association 2013 Conference Focuses on Connecting and Collaborating

July 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Incentive marketing professionals from across North America and beyond will be gathering in Denver for the Incentive Marketing Association’s (http://www.incentivemarketing.org/) (IMA) 13th Annual Summit in Denver July 28 through July 30 to build connections, collaborate on business issues, and work to advance their $46 billion industry.

“This year’s summit, under the theme ‘Connect, Collaborate, Thrive,’ will deliver valuable tools and ideas that will benefit our industry and improve the bottom line of our member companies,” said Louise Anderson, CPIM, chairperson for this year’s event. She added that the 2013 summit, while offering a wide variety of educational programs and networking events, will also include programs to help IMA members improve their business connectivity. “We will be exploring ways to use social media and technology to develop more meaningful and profitable relationships,” she said.

Keynote speaker for the 2013 summit is Byron G. Sabol, international consultant on client service and business communications, and author of “Taming the Beast: Success With Difficult People.”

Two important award programs will also be held at the IMA Summit. The IMA Circle of Excellence Awards recognizes incentive programs that meet rigorous criteria in meeting program objectives, creativity, incentive selection, communications strategy and overall effectiveness. The Incentive Gift Card Council ACE awards recognize and showcase IGCC members and their clients for their exemplary gift card programs and practices.
