Follow on Google News | Robotech actor Frank Catalano to speak July 4th at ANIME EXPO AX 2013 at the LA Convention CenterFrank Catalano author of Rand Unwrapped - Confessions of a Robotech Warrior is speaking about his new book and his role in the new Robotech feature film Love Live Alive being released on July 23rd
highlighted in his new book RAND UNWRAPPED – CONFESSIONS OF A ROBOTECH WARRIOR. Catalano states, "When we were making the series, we had no idea that it would be such a tremendous success. I wanted to write about how I created the character utilizing my own life experiences. Carl Macek was the driving force that created this wonderful show and the Robotech fans have kept it going. They're the best. I will be available on July 4th to sign copies of my book for any of the Robotech fans that have them. " As an executive, Catalano has served in various capacities at Lorimar Studios, Beverly Hills Playhouse, and Southern California Center for the Arts and Warner Bros. where he had a first look writing deal for the development of television and motion picture properties. He has also written and performed in animated television series and feature films including DIGIMON DIGITAL MONSTERS, THE ADVENTURES OF DYNAMO DUCK for Fox TV, the sci-fi series ROBOTECH and ABC television series including LA LAW, NYPD BLUE, MURDER ONE, CIVIL WARS and UGLY BETTY. His published books Art of the Monologue, White Knight Black Night, The Creative Audience, Autumn Sweet, The Resting Place and RAND UNWRAPPED - CONFESSIONS OF A ROBOTECH WARRIOR are currently available online, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Kindle, ITunes and bookstores worldwide. His newest books SHORT MONOLOGUES FOR AUDITIONS and CHE CHE will be released in August. Catalano conducts seminars on acting and writing nationwide and has been a featured speaker at Anime Expo 2012, the Annual Writer's Conference and Annual Stage, Screen and Television Actor's Conference sponsored by San Diego State University. He also conducts theatre and acting seminars at University of Southern California and was a featured speaker in Europe lecturing in Turkey, Greece and Italy. End
