DALLAS - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The Holy Grail Pub announced today that it will host it’s annual Independence Day Smoke Out at the Grail event this coming weekend, July 5-7, 2013.  The event will run Noon to 9 p.m., Friday – Sunday.
The Smoke Out at the Grail events are held periodically throughout the summer time to celebrate the great American tradition of a community barbecue. The events feature favorite meats smoked on a mobile pit smoker on their outside patio.  The special menu will include Beer Can Chicken, Bacon-injected Beef Brisket, House made Hot Dogs, and Beef Short Ribs.  Smoked Prime Rib will be available on Sunday, July 7th from 2 -9 p.m. Each smoked plate is served with potato chip salad and tri-color cole slaw. Each smoked plate is served with an accompanying sauce that complements the specific meat.
Some limited release summer seasonal beers will be tapped throughout the weekend. On Thursday, July 4th at 6 p.m. The Holy Grail Pub is tapping a limited release barrel of 2012 vintage Crispin Oak Aged Marvin Cider.  Brewed with Irish stout yeast, molasses, honey and dark cherries and aged in pinot noir barrels this may be the last remaining keg of 2012 Marvin Cider in the U.S.
On Friday, July 5th at Noon the Holy Grail Pub will tap Oskar Blues Chardonnay Barrel-aged G’Knight, an Imperial IPA brewed by Longmont, CO’s Oskar Blues Brewery. On Saturday, July 6th at Noon the Holy Grail Pub will tap Anderson Valley’s Summer Solstice, a cream ale from the California based brewery. On Sunday, July 7th at Noon the Holy Grail Pub will tap Dogfish Head’s Festina Peche, a Berliner Weisse brewed with peaches.  During the Smoke Out at the Grail event, The Holy Grail Pub will also be offering cocktails featuring watermelon mint and Meyer Lemon house infused vodka.
During the Smoke Out at the Grail event, guests can order off the regular lunch and dinner menu or the special barbecue event menu. The regular brunch menu will be served Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
