Cleanetics is offering Sterile Compounding solutions through Attainia

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - July 1, 2013 - Cleanetics, a leader in cleanroom design and construction, is Advancing Clean Technology by announcing a partnership with Attainia, an industry leader in healthcare equipment planning solutions, to better facilitate the confluence of healthcare and clean technology.  Sterile compounding products and room design templates are now offered through Attainia to reduce the risk of contamination to both products and people.
“We design and build clean room environments by implementing the most innovative standards and methods to achieve asepsis,” says Rami Fawaz, Principal Executive of Cleanetics.  “Being able to share this expertise with collaborative design professionals at the onset considerably increases the success of the final outcome.  We are pleased to announce we are working with Attainia to offer its members a Sterile Compounding suite that can reduce the exorbitant costs associated with readmissions.  And we do so through infection control.”

“All healthcare facilities need to ensure patient safety from infection,” notes Anil Singhal, MD, VP of Supply Chain Solutions at Attainia. “Presenting Attainia users with Cleanetics’ clean room environments early in project development will improve awareness of the need of this essential step in reducing contamination and infection risk.”
The basis of the Cleanetics product line is to make it easier to maintain strict levels of protocol by designing and building sterile and homogenous products and architectural finishes that are easy to clean and disinfect.  This protects the patient during their vulnerable state of recovery, and also protects hospital staff, minimizing potential cross-contamination to patients who otherwise would not be at risk.
The environment’s level of health safety is continuously validated through real-time particle monitoring, data-logging and reporting, as well as routine viable microbial testing to validate a facility’s performance.  Therefore a facility is clean as well as sterile, and also has the necessary data and sampling reports to prove it.

The recent meningitis outbreak attributed to widespread contaminated compounded sterile preparations has resulted in the federal government requiring stricter regulation of the current USP 797 mandate on a state-by-state basis.  Consulting with Cleanetics is a proactive step toward ensuring compliance.
