Deadline Nears for 55+ Smart Choice Awards

IRVINE, Calif. - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Companies whose innovative solutions, services and concepts are serving today’s Baby Boomers and the 55+ housing industry are encouraged to participate in this summer’s Smart Choice Awards. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 19, for consideration. The 55+ Housing Council in Irvine will recognize honorees on Thursday, August 15.

In step with the thriving active adult market, the 55+ Housing Council is seeking to recognize pacesetters in the fields of innovation, green and sustainable living, energy efficiency and technology. In addition, a second category has been added for 2013, which showcases creative indoor or outdoor design concepts that reflect the preferences of contemporary Boomers.

Companies with the 10 most innovative solutions will be extended the opportunity to present their concepts at the August 15 meeting of the 55+ Housing Council and Remodelers Council.

Established in 1990 and the largest of its kind in the country, the 55+ Housing Council provides networking, education and partnering prospects for Southern California professionals involved in every aspect of housing, specifically for persons age 55+.
