Velassaru Unveils Stunning New Website

MALE, Maldives - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Award-winning Maldivian resort Velassaru has unveiled a captivating new website as part of a dynamic evolution of its visual identity.

Created by specialist branding and communications agency QUO, the visual reinterpretation seeks to capture Velassaru’s contemporary, uninhibited, sensual proposition with a sharper, more energised design.

Taking inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of the Maldives, the visual identity draws on the brand’s distinct colour palette of vibrant blues and more muted greys, bringing it to life with striking abstract photography. Incorporating unique V-shaped vignettes, colour imagery is contrasted with black and white to create a sense of effortless sophistication, and a fresh, youthful character.

The new website design perfectly captures this revised identity, while also offering simpler, more intuitive navigation. Full-bleed images take centre stage, yet these are carefully balanced with appropriate text, booking mask and carefully selected offers and promotions.

The launch of the new website comes in advance of an impressive renovation project, due for completion later in the year. The resort’s 17 overwater bungalows and 10 beachfront villas will all be upgraded to include their very own private pool, while the elegant Chill Bar (http://www.velassaru.com/chill-bar) will bring guests closer to the ocean with a stylishly extended deck. Updated accommodation will be available from November 1st, 2013.
