In her still lifes and vanitas, Laurence Longueville describes with visual words, using the symbols of the 16 Dutch and 17 th century, high studied experimentations, creating a "landscape-picture" including fruits, flowers, watches, musical instruments, sculptures and skulls, all in rich and colorful compositions.
