In 1946 "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66" hit the airwaves, bringing to life an American Icon. Just mentioning the name itself of this legendary highway conjures up images of people heading west. Now you can take a summer road trip and get your kicks on Route 66! Experience Next Exit: Route 66 and explore how local artists have interpreted the "Mother Road" of the American Auto Age-avenue to the West and symbol of freedom and reinvention-using a variety of media and techniques. Featuring artists Su Limbert,Todd Duane Miller, Andreana Donahue, Justin Favela and JW Caldwell. Exhibit on display daily June 28 through September 15, 2013. Free for members or included with paid general admission.
