Offering 7 hours of Continuing Education credits

Dallas, TX ,24 June 2013-- Veterinary Education Network is pleased to announce industry experts Mark Middleton, Wendy Myers and Elisa Thompson  at a full-day workshop offering 7 hours of CE to held at the Omaha Henry Doorly  Zoo on Friday, July 12, 2013 open to DVMs, Practice Managers and Veterinary Technicians.

We will discuss topics such as “how DVMs drive business to their competition, how to improve the bottom line, increase feline business, and understand the time value of money “says, keynote speaker Mark Middleton, industry expert.

"I found the information presented by Mark Middleton and his colleagues at the Veterinary Education Network compelling, insightful, and useful. It was time well spent." says Marcus A. Roeder MBA, CVPM, Dublin Animal Hospital, Hospital Administrator/Owner and American Animal Hospital Association, Board of Directors: Director of Practice Management, AAHA Educational Committee.

“Clinics today face many challenges including an economic recession.  There are many steps you can take to increase your profitability amid these economic conditions.  We discuss innovative ways to use your buying power with your vendors, understand how colors impact buying decisions and how you can increase your feline business, and learn how to use your website and social media to reach existing and new clients“ says Elisa Thompson, MBA.

“Rarely do you get the opportunity to have people like Mark Middleton and his team, with their experience and credibility, present such a comprehensive look at the business of veterinary medicine. I have known Mark for many years, and he brings an intangible to this seminar that you will have never experienced nor are likely to again. This seminar is going to teach DVM's the value of money and time. They will learn that purchasing capital equipment is an investment in their practice, not a cost“ says Craig Tockman, DVM, Director of Professional Services, Abaxis North American Animal Health and one of the sponsors of the workshop.

The topics include: Causing Thought about Your Business, Effective Ways to Engage Clients, How to Increase your Feline Business and Little or No Cost Marketing Strategies.

“We encourage DVMs, Owners, Practice Managers, Veterinary Technicians or anyone interested in increasing the profitability of their clinic to attend. The pricing is designed to include a DVM and a practice member for one price. We want key decision makers in attendance to learn from each other,“ says VEN Principal, Dana Rhoden.

The price is $379 for two to attend and receive 7 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credits, meals and tickets to enjoy the zoo. Half price tickets are available for family members for the zoo.   To register go to www.veterinaryeducationnetwork.com.
