In the entrepreneurial pursuit to be his own boss, Rob Lopez separated from the Air Force in 2007. Because of the persuasiveness in ServiceMaster Cleans #1 Corporate Objective “To Honor God In All You Do” he took a leap of faith, moved his family closer to his parents, bought an "Independent" ServiceMaster Clean Franchise and went live in October of 2007 with no working capital. N&A Business Ventures LLC, dba/ServiceMaster-CCS was launched with an up front investment of $32,000, a strong business plan and a strong local marketing strategy. Rob got to work on building his client base, one lead at a time, one contract at a time. He worked hard, from the garage of his home, on promoting his business during the day and after acquiring his first contract, two weeks after going live, he spent his nights cleaning that office nightly. Whenever a new lead for stripping and refinishing tile floors or cleaning carpets popped up, he handled that as well until he was able to add and train more staff. This process of marketing during the day and cleaning any newly added contract continued for approximately nine months before adding employees to continue the work in the field. He now continues to work on growing his business full time (from zero customers to currently over 85 -including the CITY of PUNTA GORDA). With his wife on his side they oversee day to day operations, develop team members, and service over 3 million square feet of commercial building space throughout the Southwest Florida Area (North Port to Ft. Myers).

Rob built his business from the ground up and he did this all while dealing with a difficult medical condition called Hydrocephalus. This silent medical condition is something that Rob never talks about, because in his words, “I don’t want my kids to ever let anything hold them back from achieving a goal. I want to be an EXAMPLE not an EXCUSE.” He credits his faith in God, hard work, technology, and the wonderful systems and programs that were acquired, through constantly working on developing and bettering his organization, for the companies continued success.
