QUTUB INSTITUTIONAL AREA, India - June 25, 2013 - PRLog -- With eight Management Development Programmes (MDPs) slated for July, 2013 FORE School of Management, New Delhi, is offering something of interest to everyone in the world of business.

Kicking off the month will be a two-day session on ‘Behavioural Finance and Investment Decisions’ will be the subject of a programme led by Prof. Shalini Kalra Sahi on July 1st and 2nd. Behavioural finance links together finance, economics and psychology to shed light on human behaviour in financial markets, the influence it has and its effect on the corporate world.

The next session will be a 3-day programme on ‘Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset at the Workplace’ under the direction of Prof. Anita Tripathy Lal, scheduled to run from July 3rd-5th.

Aimed at middle-level executives, the MDP will strive to teach how to instill an entrepreneurial mindset – viewing the job they do as their own business – in employees, improving self-esteem, developing a sense of ownership and striving to achieve the organisation’s goals.

July 8th and 9th will see an MDP on Applied Marketing Research conducted by Prof. Asif Zameer which will focus on handling the increasingly complex marketing decisions that have to be made due to economic reforms and the globalisation of the Indian economy. Participants will learn how to use statistical tools for data analysis – a key factor in making today’s marketing decisions.

Prof. Neetu Jain and Prof. Neeraj Kumar will conduct a three-day programme on ‘Improving Interpersonal Effectiveness and Team Building’ from the 10th to 12th of July. Managing people is a complex and challenging job and those attending this MDP will learn some essential human relations skills to make the task easier and more effective.

Maintaining a satisfactory balance between work and personal life can be a challenge, particularly for women executives. Achieving that balance will be the topic of a two-day MDP on July 18th and 19th, conducted by Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya.

The goal of this session will be to help professionals analyse the consequences of work-life conflict, understand the challenges of managing a professional-personal life, boost self-awareness and develop capabilities and strategies to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

July 22nd to 24th will feature ‘Effective Communication Through Theatre Technique’ led by Prof. Reeta Raina. A necessary skill in the business world, this programme will focus on effective written communication, listening skills, public speaking and non-verbal skills such as appearance, posture, gestures and facial expressions.

‘Effective Selling Skills’ will be taught at a two-day MDP on July 25th and 26th under the direction of Prof. Asif Zameer. Sales are the life-blood of business and this programme is aimed giving executives a chance to discuss and analyse ways of bolstering the performance of their sales force for optimal results.

Developing a go-to-market strategy; boosting selling and prospecting skills; personnel issues such as recruiting, selecting and training and learning how technology can enhance sales personnel performance are just some of the topics which will be covered.

Wrapping up the month will be a three-day session – ‘Developing Emotional Intelligence for Effective Leadership’ – scheduled to run from July 29th to 31st under the direction of Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya.

Aimed at middle level and senior executives, the programme will use lectures, group discussions, simulation exercises and case studies to cover a wide-range of topics, including: developing high self-awareness and interpersonal skills, leading teams, emotional leadership, intuition and empathy, and mapping and developing emotional intelligence.
