WHO:       THE LORI MCKENNA BAND
A staple of the Boston folk music scene Lori McKenna lives in Stoughton, MA.  Lori’s unique way of articulating the love, pain and pathos of domestic life has attracted some of the most dynamic artists to record her works, including Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss, Keith Urban and Lee Ann Rimes. Lori is a five time recipient of the Boston Music Awards.

WHAT:    A benefit concert sponsoring the Alliance for Children Foundation’s work to provide homes for homeless children in Kenscoff, Haiti.  The concert headlines will feature The Lori McKenna Band with opening act Kiley Evans.  Kiley makes her home in Marshfield, MA.

WHY:                           The Alliance for Children Foundation (www.afcfoundation.org) is a Massachusetts based charitable organization dedicated to providing basic needs, medical care and educational opportunities to disadvantaged children worldwide.  This concert will specifically benefit orphaned children cared for by the Foundation in Kenscoff, Haiti.
