School of Cosmetology at IBMC College now Offers Career Training in Hair, Skin and Nail Services

GREELEY, Colo. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- (June 21, 2013): IBMC College announced today that the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) has granted permission to begin enrolling students in the Cosmetology Diploma program at IBMC campuses in Greeley, CO and Cheyenne, WY, effective immediately.

As prescribed, the Cosmetology Diploma program is 14 months in length. Students receive hands-on instruction in the areas of hair, nails, and skincare services – under the supervision of seasoned educators.

Individual hairstyling, esthetician, and nail technician kits are included in the cost of the program. Students will engage in both classroom and applied learning by working with models and guests in the on-campus student salon, utilizing name brand products: Big Sexy Hair, Redken, Mizani, and Tigi hairstyling tools and coloring lines. Dermalogical and Mirabella lines will be used for esthetician procedures, and OPI for nail technician services.

In addition to developing a strong foundation of safety practices, customer service training and business skills, students will be prepared to take the State Board Examination.  

Upon completion of the Cosmetology coursework and passing of the State Board Examination, graduates will be certified as hairstylists, estheticians and nail technicians – with the ability to begin working in entry-level careers as Licensed Cosmetologists, which may include beauty salons, health spas, medical offices, salon owners, or as vocational education teachers.

In the Cosmetology Diploma program, job placement assistance is provided, and Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.

IBMC College is now enrolling for Cosmetology Diploma program classes at the Greeley, CO campus, 5400 W. 11th Street, Suite D and Cheyenne, WY location, 1854 Dell Range Boulevard.
