The Angel at Burford Receive 4 Star AA Award

BURFORD, U.K. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- The spring has started 2013 off very well for everybody at The Angel in Burford.

There have been a number of developments, and the first bit of important news is a visit by the AA for the first time since The Angel changed hands. The AA awarded The Angel with 4 stars for accommodation together with a rosette for the restaurant. After a positive beginning to 2013, this is understandably considered by everybody there as a great achievement, for the whole team it is a reward for their continued and ongoing investment in the pub, restaurant, and accommodation.

The Angel team recently visited Hook Norton Brewery Awards, and came away from the ceremony with six awards! The restaurant and the menu once again were recognised positively, with both a Highly Commended award for our Steak and Kidney Pie in the Food and Beer Matching category. The Angel were also awarded Food Pub of the Year. This is treated primarily as a reward for the hard work of Head Chef Andy Frost, and his team.

The Angel at Burford were also awarded Accommodation Pub of the Year, and Highly Commended in the Pub of The Year category.

Along with some great reviews on Trip Advisor and the comments from our valued regulars, the team at The Angel are really making a mark and attracting more visitors to this most beautiful part of the Cotswolds.
