Follow on Google News | East Peoria Woman Invited to Participate in National SCORE Tech SummitSCORE, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping small businesses grow, has invited Tammy Finch, of Web Services, Inc to participate in their Technology Summit in Dallas Texas coming up in August 2013.
"Small business especially benefit from SCORE and the service is free. I have been a member for about 4 years and have presented many workshops on internet technology. It's important to stay current! Using websites like Facebook and Twitter present opportunities to use a free tool to strengthen your relationship with current clients, to benefit from new client referrals by your client base, and to build rapport with prospects,” stated Tammy Finch, owner of Web Services, Inc., an East Peoria-based company. "I'm honored that SCORE has faith in my skills to invite me to participate in this worthwhile event." In March, Finch discussed social media at the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa in Miami Beach, Florida. In fact, she has traveled the country for the last few years presenting workshops on social media. She states, almost any industry can benefit with the free service. Finch's company provides social media management for some clients. She sees first-hand what their results have been. “We have actually been doing this for several years. We have about 75 clients for our social media service. The results that our clients get in terms of website traffic are excellent,” Finch stated. For instance, a fitness center doubled its unique website visitors after just two months of using Facebook. Finch’s other clients have achieved similar results by using social media. Anyone interested in SCORE should visit the www.score.org website to find a chapter near them.
