-- Ken Fitzgerald, a partner at Chapin Fitzgerald LLP, was selected as a San Diego County Top Attorney for 2013 in Intellectual Property Litigation and Corporate Litigation by the San Diego Daily Transcript. Mr. Fitzgerald has been repeatedly recognized as a Top Attorney by the San Diego Daily Transcript, including selections in both Corporate Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation, These recognitions include Top Attorney recognitions in 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010 by the Daily Transcript. Mr. Fitzgerald is also currently listed in the 2013 Best Lawyers in America in the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation specialties. He has also been recognized on numerous occasions by the print magazine Super Lawyers as a “Top 10” and “Top 50” attorney in San Diego, including his selection as a “Top 10” Super Lawyer in 2013.
The San Diego Daily Transcript conducted a peer voting process to determine the best lawyers in private, corporate, academic, and government practice in San Diego County in key categories. The Daily Transcript circulated nomination notices to attorneys listed in the San Diego Attorney Directory and advertised nomination notices in its print and online publications. Each attorney was asked to nominate a lawyer with whom they have had experience within a professional setting. After tabulating over 1,100 nominations for 2013, the Daily Transcript identified the top 25 nominated attorneys as semi-finalists, and then opened a peer voting process to determine the top ten ranked attorney finalists.
