Learning from Business Leaders at MD2MD’s Leaderfest 2013

June 21, 2013 - PRLog -- This month’s Leaderfest conference, arranged by Leadership Development experts MD2MD, and held in Pinewood Film Studios, London, was attended by business leaders from across the UK and beyond.

The conference offered a number of compelling benefits, including presentations and networking opportunities designed to help  attendees understand that similar challenges that other business leaders face, how a variety of leaders achieved their success, and what they would do differently if they had the ability to do it again.

The conference is designed to provoke business leaders in to thinking differently about one aspect of their role in leadership, and to motivate them to improve their business in at least one way. Enjoyable participation and thought provoking presentations and activities facilitated these requirements well. Ultimately, Leaderfest 2013 enabled business leaders to ‘up their game’.

James Lawler, one of the Leaderfest 2013 attendees who travelled from a Digital Marketing company based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, explained:

“Leaderfest 2013 was thoroughly enjoyable; it was a fantastic opportunity to learn from other directors and generate new ideas for our business. I particularly enjoyed the interview format in which the speakers were questioned by a professional interviewer; this enabled us to get the maximum benefit from a leaders experience and apply them to their own business.

I attended this year’s Leaderfest with our MD, Alex Minchin. When it comes to business Alex and I look at things in very different ways, Alex being the visionary and looking at the big picture, whilst myself being more of a detail person. We benefited greatly from Leaderfest as we both bring away a different perception of ideas which we can then combine and implement using our complimentary skills to form a great strategy.
