Retired Maryland Attorney Seeks to Evolve Business Networking

BALTIMORE - June 20, 2013 - PRLog -- On June 26, 2013, a retired Maryland attorney, who built his law firm exclusively on referrals, will launch a new initiative called “Connect the World”,  to help small business owners and professionals finally make business networking productive.

Glenn Garnes, who is the founder of an online TV, radio and newspaper, Village Connector, is looking to improve the quality of business networking taking place across the world.  He will be facilitating a special master mind meeting where he will share the philosophies and principles contained in his free downloadble e-book, Small Business CEO Essentials to Business Networking.  Instruction and coaching will also include “The Connector’s Marketing Plan Workshop”, where he teaches business professionals how to develop a one page marketing plan centered around relationship marketing.  

“I’ve grown tired of hearing people complaining about how business networking doesn’t work, when I know it does”, says Garnes.  “What business professionals need to know is that they are only a few simple steps away from making relationship marketing work for them but they’ve got to make some adjustments in the way they go about it”, he added.  http://youtu.be/TcYzvM0tgP4



Some people consider this opportunity to be a windfall for small business owners, because of the potential it has to change people’s fortunes.  “I started attending Glenn’s workshops over a year ago, and my business has grown steadily ever since”, says Dave Wren, the founder of Computer, MD, an IT firm serving small businesses.  "The principles Glenn teaches make sense but what makes them work was my action on the principles”, Wren added.

The Connect the World initiative will include a monthly master mind coaching session to be held at Smartly Spaced, a small business co-working facility in Linthicum Heights, Maryland.  The monthly meeting will be live streamed on Village Connector TV as well, for participants who are unable to attend in person.  Participants will also attend networking events Garnes is attending and will collaborate to host a monthly networkihng event themselves, to invite their new connections to get to know each other better.

The project is expected to be ongoing perpetually and is free to the community.
