Food Bank for Westchester To Host Happy Hour Block Party Thursday, July 18

ELMSFORD, N.Y. - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- The Food Bank for Westchester, which has been fighting hunger for 25 years, is hosting a first-ever summer Happy Hour Block Party. The event will be held Thursday, July 18 from 5:30-9:00 pm at the Food Bank warehouse, 200 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford, NY 10523. Included will be “Delicious Eats, Live Bluegrass Music, and Food-Banking Fun.”  

This lively, casual Block Party will showcase the Food Bank’s new 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse.  The public is invited to come and meet friends, relax with wine, beer and summer cocktails, enjoy a tasty barbeque (with plenty for vegetarians!), munch on fresh salads, and finish with delicious desserts. There will be live bluegrass music by Bob Stump & The Blue Mountain Band, and food packing games and relays for the energetic.
