Latest Training Academy Demonstrates Company Founder’s Commitment to His Role of Head Coach

Advisors’ Academy Head David Scranton says Personalized Leadership Will Remain a Top Priority as Company Grows
 
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, June 18, 2013 – Sometimes, the more a company grows, the less accessible its leader becomes. Not so with David Scranton, whose Advisors’ Academy is one of the fastest-growing training and marketing organizations in the financial services industry. Scranton not only still provides one-on-one coaching to many of his Academy’s elite members, he also heads-up the company’s frequent intensive training academies – as he will here again starting June 20th.

The latest three-day Academy will give attendees the opportunity to process and practice new and upgraded elements of Scranton’s highly detailed sales process.  Like all academies, it will also give advisors invaluable face-time with Scranton to learn first-hand the transferrable skills and techniques that have made him one of the industry’s top producers.

“Even in this age of webinars and podcasts and so many great teaching resources, there’s still no substitute for the actual classroom setting,” Scranton said.  “The personal interaction not only allows advisors to really internalize the material, it leads to new discoveries. In that way, these academies are as valuable to me as a coach as they are to our advisors.”  

Since Scranton is still an in-the-field producer himself, who sets the ambitious pace for his advisors with some $3 million-on-average in personal annual income, he is intimately familiar with the challenges they face. What’s more: since he invented and is continually honing and improving most of the Academy’s proprietary sales and marketing programs, he knows that no one else is better qualified to teach them.

“We have an entire staff of incredible coaches at Advisors’ Academy,” Scranton said, “but when it comes to these intensive, hands-on training events, I know I’m the one that needs to be front-and-center, and that won’t change.”

With that in mind, as the company grows it is proactively organizing its burgeoning coaching staff in such a way that allows Scranton to actually be more available and accessible to advisors in key areas – primarily sales coaching and personal development.

“It’s all about properly managing growth,” Scranton said, “and – based on the work we do with our advisors – that’s something we have a lot of experience with.”
In addition to several Training Academies and small Study Groups each year, Advisors’ Academy hosts a larger annual 4-to-5 day event called “Study Group on Steroids,” or “SGOS.”  In just three years, SGOS has blossomed into one of the industry’s most ambitious and innovative training and teambuilding programs. Though prestigious guest speakers and presenters are often on the agenda, Scranton, again, makes sure that he, personally, fulfills the role of head coach and teacher at SGOS.
