NiceTraxUK 002 release - "The Red EP"

LONDON - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Nice Trax UK is a fresh new label for 2013 based in London. Set up by long time friends Stuart Partridge of the legendary “Tweekin records” San Francisco and Patrick Foley AKA “Phat Pat”. Stuart made his name in the late 90's playing all over California at venues such as Green Gorilla alongside the likes of Layo and Bushwacka, Terry Francis, Mark Farina, and Inland Knights, while back in the day “Phat Pat” was a household name in the San Franciscan club scene with residencies at venues such as “Havin It Large” and the “oblivion” boat parties. Back in London in 2013 Pat and Stuart have been responsible for gigs at the East village in Shoreditch bringing in guest DJ's such as Afronaut of Bugz in the Attic, and house legend Lofty, flying /chillifunk records, HHA aka Luke McCarty , and Craig Whitfield.

In addition to this, NiceTrax put on a monthly night "San Franciscan Business", pumping out cutting edge deep house music and chilled vibes in intimate small venues across south west London.

With their pedigree unquestioned, Nice Trax UK now brings you it's second release – The Red EP. A compilation, it comprises of 5 laid back, smoking deep house tracks that define the Nice Trax's sound.  

Corey Romero's “All That Jazz” revolves around an interchanging hypnotic chord progression and etheral passages of lush pads layered against old school style pitched vocals.  

NiceTrax “MuzikPeople” has an old school garage vibe underpinned with contemporary deep house and a familiar vocal sample.

“Sky Blue” from 2 Block Radius drives around a huge jazzy baseline set to a chilled sound scape that keep the track moving throughout.  

Nicolas Diez's  “Destellos” starts with some great percussion work leading us into a 4/4 house workout while Phat Pat's “Deep In The Mind” is a moody, smoky, chilled out deep house work out that could easily transport you to a dreamy 4 am in the morning with it haunting washed out vocals.
