All of the money raised will go towards Friends of Fort Totten Parks and NYC Veterinary Emergency Response Team. The veterinarians emphasize that all pet owners should have their pets microchipped. This ensures their pet’s health and safety so that they can be found if they run away or taken by a stranger. Having a pet microchipped is a successful step in responsible pet ownership. When: Saturday, June 15, 2013 noon-3 p.m. Where: Crocheron Park 33rd Rd. and 215th Place, Queens, NY Directions: Long Island Expressway to Exit 31 N-S.
