UNIONDALE, N.Y. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- UNIONDALE, NY — Chris J. Coschignano, Partner, Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC (http://swcblaw.com/index.html), who was recently appointed Receiver of Lewis’ Dry Cleaners by Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Brown, has announced that a Westbury dry cleaning establishment that was recently closed down will be reopened again on June 14th between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. so that customers can pick up their items.
Mr. Coschignano’s appointment as Receiver was made at the request of the Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs, due to the efforts of County Executive Ed Mangano and Legislator Norma Gonsalves, who represents the Westbury area. He will be responsible for overseeing that the customers are able to receive all their clothing and collect from them any necessary payments.

Lewis’ Dry Cleaners, located at 836 Carman Avenue in Westbury, was recently shut down by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office after the landlord evicted the shop’s owner, Moo Wong Lee, from the premises for nonpayment of his rent.

Mr. Coschignano says several hundred customers picked up their clothing and other dry cleaning items this past Saturday, June 8th, but hundreds more are still waiting to pick them up. “I encourage those who have not yet received their clothing to do so this Friday,” he says.
