The World News With Diane Sawyer segment will focus on Eldridge as a working mother – married with two children and running a successful small business. With an increase of mothers working outside of the home, countless women are challenged with similar struggles which will be discussed during the segment.
“One of the biggest challenges I find in my life is balancing a nurturing and fulfilling environment in business and at home. I know this to be a fact for other working mothers as well, so having a platform like World News to share my joys and ‘mother’s guilt’ will hopefully help other women in their daily lives,” stated Eldridge.
As the cofounder along with business partner and fellow accomplished educator Tiffany Overton, the former college roommates have merged their passions for classroom excellence and entrepreneurship into one of the most sought after and proven services in the Central New Jersey region. While fostering emotional, social and cognitive development to children and adults, Eldridge Overton offers programs like free and private tutoring, College for Kids, life skill development, workplace readiness, college preparation and standardized test preparation, among many others.
During the segment, Eldridge and her family will sit down with ABC correspondent Amy Robach, a working mother herself, to discuss life's balancing act and her commitment to family and entrepreneurship. In addition, Time Management Expert and Author Elizabeth Grace Saunders will share practical tips to Eldridge on how to make the most of her daily schedule and responsibilities.
“I’m so excited to know the world will be afforded the opportunity to learn more about EOEP and how working mothers can achieve all of their goals, including running a successful business, maintaining a household and caring for their children,” said Eldridge.
