San Antonio Health Underwriters Host 2nd Annual Fund Raiser For Charity

SAN ANTONIO - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The San Antonio Health Underwriters Association will host a fund raiser on Friday, June 13, 2013 at Brunswick Bowl to benefit the deserving children and Wounded Warriors that are served by Upward Transitions Therapeutic Horsemanship’s (UTTH) many programs. SAAHU  chooses a worthy charity annually to raise money to help charitable causes – this year SAAHU chose UTTH.

The mission of Upward Transitions is to enhance the lives of people with physical, emotional and mental challenges through horse-related programs and a dedicated community. For individuals with mental or emotional challenges, the unique relationship formed with the horse can lead to increased confidence, patience and self esteem. Not only are there many miracle type stories of medical benefits but the freedom felt by sitting on top of their horse and leaving the confines of their disability behind is what UTTH is excited to deliver.

Upward Transitions serves Bandera, Bexar, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr and Medina counties. We serve individuals with challenges, special needs school classes, wounded warriors including any veteran with a disability, juvenile justice systems, and at risk youth from a variety of organizations.

The fundraiser will be held at Brunswick Bowl located at 4330 Thousand Oaks Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78217 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday 13, 2013.
