Indian E-commerce will continue double digit growth in 2013-14 - Chitrangana.com

India will be largest B2C eCommerce market in Asia by 2020.
Indian will be biggest B2C eCommerce market of Asia by 2020. Since 2010 the total Indian B2C e-commerce turnover increase average by 35%, including goods and services, and the growth will reach to USD 6.6 billion, a 35.1% share of Asian B2C e-commerce by 2020. Rapid growth to continue

Other mature countries in USA are scoring very high for both e-commerce and m-commerce (sales via smart phones and tablets). In these countries 70 to 80 per cent of Internet users are e-shoppers. Internet penetration is 90% or higher. Their growth figures are currently 10 to 15 per cent. But other India is catching up fast. India currently have relatively fewer online purchasers, but the market is growing rapidly. Chitrangana.com expects the Indian B2C e-commerce market to double in size by the end of 2015 , driven by increased confidence and a growing number of e-shoppers.
Trend: more and more consumers in Indian are always online
In the coming years growth of online sales will largely be determined by the rapid and spectacular penetration of mobile commerce. In the India, m-commerce has reached 6 per cent of total online sales in 2012. This was “only” two per cent at the end of 2011. Te share of m-commerce in the India is estimated to have reached close to 13% almost double the size of 2012.
