American Society of Appraisers Offers Marine Survey Course in Cleveland, OH, October 2-4

 
RESTON, Va. - June 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The American Society of Appraisers will offer a marine survey course in Cleveland, OH, October 2-4. The course is designed for the non-marine professional who wants the basic knowledge and for the marine professional who wants to learn more.

ME208: Marine Survey is an intermediate level course that addresses the topics of marine equipment and its special language, the marine industry and function of marine surveyors and appraisers, the three approaches to value as they apply to commercial and yacht appraisal, identification of marine equipment and systems, preparing a report, and the different types of Bluewater and Brownwater equipment.

A tentative field trip to a local shipyard has been planned.
