HR Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Signs With GPOs

June 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Over the past 30 months, the management at HR Pharmaceuticals has been busy re-launching the award winning HR Lubricating Jelly back into the medical marketplace.    HR formed distribution agreements with Cardinal Health, Henry Schein, and HD Smith, just to name a few. HR also works closely with buying groups, like IMCO and NDC, to service many smaller medical surgical distributors in an effort to roll out HR’s products to as many clinicians and consumers as possible.

Many of the hospital facilities that the distribution chain serves are members of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).   The medical institutions look to their GPOs to assist them with procurement and contracting.   GPOs are almost viewed as a “vetting” body by some of their members.    Members feel that if a product is on formulary, or covered under a GPO contract, then it is a cost effective product and it would be welcomed at their respective institutions.  

Realizing the important role that GPOs play in the healthcare supply chain, Jon Wiesman, President of HR Pharmaceuticals, took up a crusade to partner with GPOs to get HR Lubricating and Ultrasound Jelly listed on their respective contracts.    To date, HR’s products are listed with the following GPOs:  Premier, Innovatix, Med Assets, PDM Healthcare, Amerinet.   As HR Pharmaceuticals continues to round out their distribution channels and partner with more GPOs, the HR brand will become the “go to” name for premium quality medical consumables.
