Maya’s Oasis Takes Belly Dance To Global Market With New Online Courses

Maya Zahira’s passion for belly dance is growing exponentially, as she is tapping into the global market with her new downloadable online belly dance courses slated for release this month. She offers an extensive schedule of bellydance classes throughout the Kansas City area, but wanted to share her expertise to those who aren’t able to make it to a class.

Maya fell in love with belly dance in the late 90’s and began The Maya Zahira School of Belly Dance in 2003. (She is also a certified Usui Reiki Master, and a professional member of the International Center for Reiki Training.) Healing is her focus, and belly dance offers a way for women to get physically in shape, boost their self-esteem, heal through the emotional and spiritual aspects of the dance, and have fun too.

“I know there are many women who would really love belly dance, but might be in an area where it’s not offered, or are in a rural area where it’s too far to drive to a class. For some, their busy schedule doesn’t allow for time to attend classes, so this course gives them a way to learn at home.  Women are looking for different and fun ways to get in shape through exercise, and belly dance is a perfect fit for that, ” states Zahira.
