Pet Sitters International and Fourleggedlife.com Partner for a Double Dog Day Celebration
Pet-industry groups encourage pet owners to take advantage of two opportunities to celebrate dogs on Friday, June 21.
Pet-loving individuals and companies are encouraged to kick off this day by participating in PSI’s 15th annual Take Your Dog To Work Day (TYDTWDay®). TYDTWDay encourages businesses to experience the joys of pets in the workplace on this fun summer Friday to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions.
Businesses and pet lovers interested in participating in TYDTWDay, can visit takeyourdog.com (http://www.takeyourdog.com/)
“Since 1999, thousands of businesses have supported TYDTWDay’s mission of celebrating dogs and promoting pet adoption,” noted Patti Moran, PSI president, pet-sitting industry pioneer and author of Pet Sitting for Profit. “Last summer, more than 360,000 visitors explored takeyourdog.com (http://www.takeyourdog.com/
After working K9 to 5, pet owners and their dogs can continue the celebration and party with a purpose at one of the official National Dog Party Day events, scheduled in four cities: Austin; Dewey Beach, DE; Orlando and San Diego. All net proceeds will benefit Austin Pets Alive, Faithful Friends in Delaware, Dogs 4 Disabled Veterans in Florida and Second Chance Dog Rescue in San Diego.
Arden Moore is the creator of National Dog Party Day™. She is a noted pet trend expert, founder of Four Legged Life.com (http://www.fourleggedlife.com/
“TYDTWDay and National Dog Party Day™ allow pet owners to work and party with a purpose,” Moore said. “Participating in these June 21 events is a great way to give back to the pet community, and who better to have as your work and party partner than your well-mannered dog?”
