TOP WOMEN IN THE PET INDUSTRY FEATURED IN BI-ANNUAL RESOURCE GUIDE

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 6, 2013) – Women in the Pet Industry Network (http://www.womeninthepetindustry.com/) (WIPIN), a leading organization focused on women entrepreneurs in the ever-growing pet industry, has released its 2013 Top Women in the Pet Industry Spring into Action Biz Book (http://content.yudu.com/Library/A25j66/TopWomeninthePetIndu/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl), an 85-page digital resource guide of the top American and Canadian services, products and facilities for pets and pet owners.  

The Spring Biz Book features dozens of profiles of women-owned and operated businesses, within four categories – Services, Products, Facilities and Associations/Events/Media – from pet boutiques and writers to veterinarians and groomers. Each profile answers the question, “What’s the best action step you make as a pet business owner?”

“In addition to serving as a valuable directory for pet parents, WIPIN’s Spring Biz Book allows us to showcase the talent of our members, further positioning us as one of the industry’s leading professional organizations,” said Shawna Schuh, president of WIPIN.

This year’s Spring Biz Book also features a cover designed by one of WIPIN’s members, Fetching Communications. The agency’s artwork was selected as the winner of WIPIN’s cover design contest earlier this year.

In late November, WIPIN released its 2012 Top Women in the Pet Industry Holiday Biz Book, which reached 115,000 readers through traditional, online and social media channels.
