The Light House Celebrates 36th Anniversary in June

HOCKESSIN, Del. - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- HOCKESSIN, Del. - The Light House, local home lighting center, celebrates their 36th year in business this June. They are rewarding their customers by hosting their biggest sale of the year at their store, located at 604 Yorklyn Road, Hockessin, Del.

The Anniversary Sale is in-store only, taking place June 7-8. Enjoy 40 percent off your first item (stock only), 30 percent off your second item (stock only) and 25 percent off all additional items. Doors open at 10 a.m., both Friday and Saturday.

"Be here right at 10 a.m.," encouraged Jim Hynson, owner of The Light House. "This is the 11th year we've done this sale, and it's always been wildly popular."

The Light House opened in 1977, as a family-owned home lighting center. In 1988, it moved to its current location in Hockessin.

Current owner Jim Hynson took over the business in 1998. He worked for the original owners for many years before taking over ownership.

The Light House is a full-line fixture store specializing in lighting for residential customers. Residents of Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland find a huge selection of lights, lamp shades and ceiling fans available.
